Biosketch and research interests

I earned MSc in Computational Biomedicine from the University of Southern Denmark in 2021. Currently, I am a PhD Fellow in Computational Biomedicine at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Southern Denmark.

On my project with the Center for Functional Genomics and Tissue Plasticity (ATLAS), I study the control of cellular identity based on high-throughput genomics and transcriptomics by applying statistical and machine learning-based models. We aim to address some of the major analytical challenges faced in the single-cell transcriptomics by developing the data adaptive approaches to identify low quality cells, as well as using the mathematical models to identify apoptotic cells.
