Biosketch and research interests
I joined the Functional Genomics & Metabolism Research Unit in 2020 as a Master’s student, supervised by Jan-Wilhelm Kornfeld and Jesper Grud Skat Madsen. In 2021, I transitioned to the ATLAS project as a Ph.D. Fellow within the Jesper Grud Skat Madsen group.
My doctoral research explored how genetic variations influence cellular development. Specifically, I aimed to identify key factors that determine a cell’s final function. This work involved advanced computational techniques and strong collaborations with the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
Since October 2024, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at ADIPOSIGN. Here, I develop deep learning models to analyze complex clinical data from the ADIPOSIGN cohorts. This work aims to gain deeper insight into the underlying factors that contribute to various health conditions.
